Welcome to the 'Relentless Sea Explorer Scout Unit' home page

 Relentless Explorers, for both girls and boys aged 14 to 18 (for all other ages please use the link below), usually meet on Tuesday nights 19:30 - 21:30 at the 4th NFN (Eling) Sea Scout Group's HQ based in Totton , near Southampton, however because of the varied nature of the programme and the joint events with other units, meetings may be held in other locations and on other nights.

Explorers will concentrate on developing social and leadership skills as well as advanced nautical skills in water based activities such as canoeing, surfing, sailing, rafting, swimming and land based activities such as hiking, camping, shooting, archery, first aid, bowling, parties, Explorer Scouts sometimes help other sections as a young leaders.

The unit was founded in 2006 to run in partnership with 4th NFN (Eling) Sea Scout Group for teenagers aged 14 to 18. This gives the scout section of the group somewhere to carry on their progression through the scout movement and as we are the only Sea Explorer Scouts (who specialise in water activities) in the New Forest District it is an ideal place to come. As a partnership we have been inspected by the Royal Navy and are one of their 101 Royal Navy recognised groups in the world.

The group www.elingseascouts.org.uk has active Beaver, Cub and Scout sections providing activities for youngsters from 6 to 14 years.
